Looks like a set I used to own that I bought in 1983. It's amazing anyone could think they were only 3 years old.

The dryer looks early to mid 90's the washer could go either way being Orbital or 5 gear long stroke transmissions. The washer could be a 612 from what I can see. The dryer is one of those that Maytag I think called the Compatable model since you could match any brand to it.

The washer is from the mid to late 80's. I agree, possibly a LA612. The dryer is from the 90's and is possibly a LDE5000 or LDE5005. It's real basic and just has a timer dial and start button.
