Just downloaded the Maytag manual Robert put up, ITS GORGEOUS you won't be disappointed - I think its his best work the cover on this is MINT!

 

Now you can enjoy "Prin-N-Repair" and never dirty another piece of Doctrine again!!

 

Also Robert is right check out the Maytag Boy on pg 95!!

Maytag Neptune Stack Washer-Dryer

Amtrak has a neptune stacked washer-dryer on their trains. Their private cars have them as well. Go to youtube and seach for Amtrak with Private cars.
 
Suds Saver

Very interesting suds saver system on the early 140S model. Didn't know they used an in sink transfer valve on the first model, before going to the normal solenoid suds valve inside the washer.

But I still perfer the Bendix boy-

Jeff_adelphi, I like your avatar. I can not think of the name of this firt dryer? Is that the one Hamilton bought out the patent? IIRC, the inventer tinkered with perfecting a tumble dryer for apartment house use by multiple families? Arthur
