I truly believe believe that our entire family deserves a medal of honor for the torture our Maytag SAV3655AWW has put us through over the past 4 years with leaky center seals, shot bearings, motor, pump, transmission, etc, etc. I have seen the machine totally disassembled by Maytag repair on at least 3 occasions while under service contract. Now I am doing it myself. I have a question for the brain trust that designed this thing.....is the tub designed to move slightly (like 3-4 inches)during the wash cycle? The brake doesn't hold like a Whirlpool! I was also the beneficiary of a Maytag Atlantis MAV6000AWW top loader that destroyed the center seal, bearings, and transmission. The SAV machine is great when it's working. I keep a spare Whirlpool in the garage just in case....
