from what i can tell, about the washer.....
it is a one speed "fabricmatic" washer with the extra large capacity.
it has the 4 water "TEMPERATURE" button choices:
hot/warm, hot/cold, warm/cold, cold/cold
it has the 3 agitation "ACTION" button choices:
permanent press, regular, delicate
and it has the 4 load "SIZE" button choices:
small load, medium load, large load, ex-large load

Maytag A308 3 speed or 2.5 speed?
A neighbor of mine bought all new appliances and asked if I wanted her Maytag, which still worked, but she wanted a new matching set. I went to look, it is really immacculate, extra large capacity 4 wash rinse temps and three buttons for speed-Regular, Permanent Press, and Delicate, 4 fill level...
