Hi Guys,

I'm looking for videos and cannot seem to find anything... I have an A806 that is leaking oil into the tub (ruined 2 loads before I caught it). I have an extra orbital Maytag, and want to swap its innards with the A806. It appears that the clutch under the cabin base needs to be removed, and the entire interior can be lifted out. Do I understand this correctly? Am I risking an oil spill in my carport?

Maytag A806 doesn't have a clutch.

To swap in an orbital trans the tub must be removed and you'll also need to use the orbital style agitator which it sounds like you have.

Good time to replace the tub bearing and mounting stem as well.

It’s the brake...
.
No, I don’t want to remove the tub, at least by itself. I want to remove the 2 tubs, agitator, tub support, transmission as one complete unit. The only removal should be fill hose, bleach tube, drain tube, belts and brake assembly. Remove this from both cabinets and swap them.
