What Makes It a 108?

Does that mean a 106 plus 2 pounds of dirt on it?

4 water temperature combinations AND what appears to be (the dread) ALMOND.  The 08 series added "Hot-Cold" to all machines in July 1975 and Almond wasn't introduced until the "non-shaded" standardization in 1977.
