Maytag Washer

Hey everybody. I’m just wondering what an approximate value is for a Maytag washing machine like this. Being sold very close to where I live. I like this style a lot and I seem to come across them fairly often so I’m assuming parts aren’t terrible to find. Looks in immaculate minimally used condition.

Fair Purchase Price

I know these are good machines but sometimes people think stuff is worth a bunch of money just because it’s old, lol. I just want to make sure I don’t overpay if it’s something I decide I can buy. What’s the “normal” going rate on these?

Maytag Value Thoughts

Hmmm... the price one is willing to pay for a Maytag? You pose an interesting question that has multiple caveats. I'll share my logic and you can take it for what it's worth.
Do you have a dream machine? Will it be a daily driver? Consider condition, tub size, model, tolerant partner, time, will-power, tools, how badly do you want it, is it rare?
You showed a smaller tub lower-tier machine... which I usually pass (I have kids/dogs).
I've paid $0 to $1 (yes one dollar) for my machines and enjoy the hunt/challenge. I have room for a daily driver (currently an a9600) and a few backup machines (donors and projects in various stages of disassembly). In the Boston area, especially during the summer, free machines are not uncommon.

So the short answer is it depends...

I agree with the concerns Chris expressed about the small tub size and minimal features on this lower tier machine.  Even for a couple or small family, the tub size may be a deal-breaker, although we did get by with this tub size for a number of years even while we had two teenage girls in the household.  You can't ask for a more indestructible machine than this for use by that particular demographic.

KitchenAid DW inner door

Does anyone have an inner door panel for a KD-15 or KD-16 dishwasher they would like to sell? I picked up a KDI-16 that I like, but the inner door is in poor shape. I'd pay the shipping as well.
