I an not sure what door it has, WP did build a few models around this time that did have the small hamper door. I know that they built one that had very large print on the control panel and a drum light with this door that was intended for senior housing. We sold a bunch of this model when it appeared on a close out list at a reduced price.

Whirltag/Maypool
The Machine you are showing is a re-branded DD Whirlpool and thank God it is. Shortly after WP took over Maytag they got rid of the Norgetag and Amanatag designs that were complete garbage and repaced them with the time proven WP DD mechanism. This machine is much more reliable as it uses the very durable Whirlpool direct drive mechanism rather than the Norgetag or Amanatag sure to fail mechanism.
Another improvement WP made to save Maytag from itself was scrapping the flimsy problematic glass door Neptunes for a Whirlpool Duet based machine.
