Members on TV!

Check it out. Remember that request Robert put out a while back for Bay Area members for a TV segment? Well, I just by luck caught it tonight. QSD Dan the Maytag man and HooverWheelAway Fred and I suspect a bunch more Vacuumland members.

I thought it was fairly well done and didn't portray anybody as too far off kilter.

I'm kind of thinking this is still "Super" subject matter.

Sorry! That's not me!
...But after thinking about it some more, I do make a cameo -- singing with Charlie and Tania and Mark at the VCCC's 2003 Convention. They swiped the clip from CBS Sunday Morning, when they featured the VCCC back in '03.

TV COVERAGE

Great coverage of the vacuums and nice shots of your appliance collection Dan. Its too bad you didn't let them film you it sort makes the washer collectors look like the weirdoes when we know its really the vacuum collectors who have to watch out for. But seriously I would have had another washer club member stand in for you if you don't want to be filmed. I am surprised the TV station went along with a request not to be on camera , but I guess for them it just made the piece seem a little more wacky.
