Stephen K and I recently installed a new replacement motor on his mid 60's solid tub Speed Queen. After carrying the old, burned out motor all over the neighborhood to find someone who had a tool that could bang out the pin from the motor shaft that connected the motor to the fluid drive, the instalation of the new motor was relatively easy. So far the queen has done 10 loads like a breeze. Also, we're almost done with the 1978 TOL Frigidiare 1-18 complete with lighted console. Just a little cleaning with lighter fluid of the rotors and tightening of the belts and she'll soon be in her new home at my house.
