Of course that house is mid-century! That saucer-shape is instant atomic-age!

I don't necessarily care for it's bland color pallate but it's great none the less!

That's a million dollar view!

I guess I think of 1950's as mid-century. To me, 1968 is a Ford Galaxie XL convertible or a Pan-Am jet, mid-century would be a 1959 Oldsmobile 88 or a TWA Constellation. Old people like me tend to think that way.

My partner and I both really love MCM homes. We sold our stamped out 1957 place last year and are now in a much more traditional situation but still subscribe to Atomic Ranch. We know we'll ultimately end up in a MCM sort of place again.

Jim, some of those places look like real-deal Eichlers. I didn't realize there were any of those in Sacramento.

That last photo looks like a later home, kind of like the 70's "Ponderosa" design (very common here in Silicon Valley) which still lends itself to the MCM lifestyle just fine.

Your 'hood resembles Citrus Heights where my partner's sister lives.
