Thanks for the answer. Yes the pw6065 for the US comes at 208V but in "special order" you can ask for a 240 or 440V 3 phases. I don´t know if, like in Europe, you just change the connection inside the machine including the cord for the plug or it is impossible to do so. Thanks again
I think you will need to step down to 208-230v. In Canada, these are factory-set to single-phase, 220/240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The wiring diagrams show the inputs for 3 phase but I'm not sure if it is a quick conversion.
I learned that there is no voltage option for the dryer. It is a straight 208v single phase connection. It would have required a step down transformer to reduce the 240v to 208.
About the dryer is true. What you buy, you cannot change, but on washer is different, this in Europe. the only point is if the pw6065 from 440 can go to 240V. Thanks. Daniele
Fron what I've read, the Little Giant machines are built for many different electrical configurations (which is why you need to be darn careful when buying used!). For the PW6065, the US marine site lists:
Your best bet to confirm if the machine can be 'converted' is to write Miele and ask them directly. From the diagram I have and the wiring I have on mine, I suspect you'd need to swap transformers internally to go from 440v down to 240v. My transformer explicitly lists 208-240V AC.
Malcom, the link below also lists various electrical configurations for the PT7135 dryer which includes 2AC 208-230V 60Hz.
