Miele Tabs- "new" style

Now that Miele no longer sells the Claro-sourced tabs in the pinched waist box, I notice that the tabs (now called "Miele-Care")are available on the Miele site in a different box, and priced differently ($29.95 + shipping for 60 tabs). For those who have used them, can these be broken in half (or cut with kitchen shears, my favorite way to do it)like the old Claro tabs to extend the life of the box?

OMG !!

Here they are expensive 13.40 euro
but there is worse ..... 29.95 dollars are 21.50 euro
