Hi
I just watched a vid on You Tube about a new Miele washer (W 4446) which can spin at 2000 rpm. Right now I'm not using my computer and I can not post the link from You Tube.
Does anybody have some information on this washer? I can find no information on Internet and Miele website
Thanks
Marco

1600 or 2000 rpm?

Thank you for your reply;)
I also found this machine sold as a 1600 rpm, not 2000
Maybe the machine was updated to 2000 rpm.(?)
As soon as I can I'll go to You Tube and ask

2000 rpm

Hi

the user went into the service programming mode and made the spin max to 2000 rpm. I'm not sure whether the machine would've achieved this as the max spin was 1600. I know that the motor can go up to 1800 like in the Navitronic. Even if it did achieve that it would place a significant amount of stress on the bearings.

Hi Mike!

My Samsung washer spins at 1300 RPM, and it is truly efficient! Some of my terry tub-mats come out a tad damp from the normal 35-minute sensor-dry cycle at medium heat. Otherwise, everything comes out dried just right! I have only read what I have in some reports. By the way, I LOVE all your 1000+ photos you took of the Wash-In" both with Robert in Minneapolis and in your own home!

Cheers!
Jason

Pics & Wash-Ins

Thanks Jason, we always have a great time when we meet up, and you dont need a large number of washers (or people) to do it, in fact the last London meet we hardly used anything as we chatted, prepared and ate dinner and usually with plenty of drinks - but we where chatting about old machines, and new, as well as adds and everything else!!

How long have you had the Samsung FL??

My Samsung

Hi Mike! I have my Samsung WA448AAW since May 30, 2010. This beautiful machine replaced the "premium" Electrolux I had for just one month which I sent back because it was so disappointing! The "mother board" on my Samsung had to be replaced by my birthday 2 months later that year! The machine has been running pretty well since, aside from the "normal quirks". I can tell you that I would not buy another front-loader, I like more water usage and shorter cycle-times for my lifestyle. I dislike spending 5 hours to do 3 loads of laundry, the dryer is already finished in 35 minutes to the washer's 55 minute(Normal) to 1hr 18 minute(Towels)cycles(don't forget the extra time the machine may take balancing a load for the spins!)I use most often. Best regards from me! Jason
