Miele W1 WKF120 - Any tips?

I have to say the cotton cycle gives superb results in 60 minutes.

It replaced a Samsung Eco bubble and the difference is very noticeable. The clothes smell much cleaner and look brighter than the Samsung's 2:56+ cottons cycle.

The wash is much, much more aggressive! It doesn't let the clothes sit for more than a second varies the speed of the drum as it goes and intermittently does a near slow distribute spin and blasts the spray nozzle.

Basically it forces huge amount amounts of water through the load without actually using that much water.

Moving to servicing from the front to the back seems like a bit of a retrograde step.I know these machines rarely go wrong but, that hinged cabinet was a very unique Miele feature and really useful if you'd a washer and dryer stack and one of them needed servicing.

I suppose though the one common maintenance issue that cropped up in the past - changing brushes - is no longer necessary with their ProfiEco motors.

Front service

The hinged front was really unique. But AFAIK this design was changed when they switched to 4-digit model numbers. Though still front serviced, the whole front had to be taken off.
And motors were serviced from underneath.
