Well, it has taken about six weeks of adjusting and tweaking, but I think I have the leveling and weight distribution perfected on the washing machine. The spin is near silent and smooth performing. Would have been nice if the expensive installation that I paid for had lived up to expectations. Live and learn. Won't pay for something like that again.

As a result, I believe I am almost ready to relist the Speed Queen set on eBay.

How many loads have you tried since you levelled the Miele once again? I would wait with putting the Speed Queens on ebay. Just run 10 to 15 loads and see if it stays like that. I have had fights with my last Miele as it wouldn't stand still while spinning. Always after I thought I would have found the correct position, it happened again that I had lots of vibrations. Just wait a few weeks, that would be my suggestion.

Loads

Only been a half a dozen since the last adjustment. Might wait a week before listing the SQ's.

Hmm, I dunno - if I were you

as long as you dont need the money and have the space - I'd keep those Imperials. Those are sweet machines and I think at some point in time, you'd regret letting them go.

just my two cents
