A DA810A???????

Yet another good example of a bizzare-O GE model. Nowhere in the catalogues of 1965. Halfway between the DA820A and the DA720A. BOL controls paired with TOL features(foot pedal, probably a drum light). What were those folks thinking?

Using up those extra pedal assemblies that were being phased out and offering a dryer that looked far better than the other dryers with that ugly door handle that really looked like a bad afterthought. The way the control panel was sort of set in a shadow box with the border on three sides at the top was also stylish. I would be willing to bet that this dryer had an automatic dry cycle because it is almost a dead ringer (sorry, Bette) for our dryer. The metalic control panel was a real step up from the drab lower end panels, some of which looked like a light blue/gray porcelain and others that were just painted.
