So true...

The Kenmore definitely does not have that WP soon I've grown to love. It's a good machine nonetheless. That auger means business! Being the purist in me as I told Martin, I went back to the original pulley for now. I wanted to get one that is about 1/4 turn smaller than the one on there now so it will be kicked up, but not too much that it over stresses the motor and other parts. Plus even with the original pulley, that auger still turns the clothes over nicely. I will have to do a video this weekend to show you.[this post was last edited: 11/11/2011-11:38]

Brian's old Frigidaire

I would go nuts to watch an old Frigidaire like Brian's white Unimatic! It has been so long since I was in the presence of one of those machines. Someday I will have to get to meet you all! BTW, GREAT photos, Peter!

Definitely Jason

I got to get that Unimatic back together though. I need to get a few more parts and then spend some time on it. I want to get it back going too. I love that machine!

Smooth and quiet with the Woo-Woo sound which you love.....and just enough to give the agitation a little more kick and a slightly higher spin speed, but not quite as powerful as the bigger pulley....this belt rides the outter edges of the pulleys........satisfies my interest for now, but will be on the lookout for a 2 1/4 inch pulley in the future.......

How many machines should we change for you?
