The seller is WRONG!!!!

This machine is not from 1930 it was made after the second world war. It is not a salesman's sample it was made for people who lived in small places who did not have room for a full sized washer. 1900 Washing Machine Co. (which became Whirlpool Corp. in 1950) made these under the Whirlpool and Kenmore names. PAT COFFEY

I got this exact model back in '82 and had it washing non-stop with just water in my window on Calvert Street in Baltimore's "Gayto".One night,I got so drunk that I left my front blinds open and crawled in the bed that seamed to be going around in circles.I woke up around 7AM on a Saturday only to see quite a few intrigued guys staring at my stiff woodie! I casualy got up,hangover and all,walked over to my window,waved good bye with one hand as I scratched my crotch and drew the blinds.That night,I went to the Hippo where I was well known and loved only to have all the folks there that knew me ask about my morning exposier.I laughed and told them all the whole story.I sold the 1900 to a gentalman in Oklohoma who's wife is a decendant of the Upton family.Founders of the Whirlpool Corporation.It was their 50th wedding anniversary and he wanted something special.I sold it to them for $1300!!!

Same machine

I have the same machine with the Kenmore decal on it,had it out the other day.Its really built well,I never really fooled with it.I figured it was a gravity drain,alas I turned it over and its got a nice pump and its friction drive like the early automatics.Frozen up though,finally got it working very strong and nice to be so small.Not a cheap piece of crap like so many. Thanks Bobby, Oh I bought it on e-bay last year for 20.00,shipping cost more than the machine.
