Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

'56 is really close for the Whirlpool. The Whirlpool in question is the 1955 Imperial, which is a carry over from the all new 1954 lighted panel Whirlpool.

In 1956 Whirlpool re-used this panel and renamed it the Supreme, with the revised Imperials reigning in at the TOL mark.

I have wanted this washer for years, but at the moment it's not gonna happen. Hopefully it was saved before a scrapper got to it.

Adverts remaining up on CL often means nothing.

We've discussed this before; sellers leave ads up on CL often long after something is gone. That or they for reasons unknown update the thing to say "sold". Large numbers simply leave an advert up until it expires and CL thus removes.

Seller left advert up for the AEG washer one was after for several weeks after it was gone. The ad is or was still up long after TD collected that vintage Jamesway dishwasher... and so it goes.
