With some great advice from this site, I've now been able to change the o-rings in my KDS-58C's detergent dispenser as it was dripping and had shown evidence of it doing so for a little while. Was able to drive out the pins with a punch and hammer after a little squirt of WD-40 on each, and found that once the pin was close to being flush with the shaft, I grabbed them underneath with linesman pliers and twisted back and forth while pulling down at the same time, and they came out fairly easy. Was able to find new o-rings the first place I looked... at my local Canadian Tire store (an automotive/hardware store for those that don't know). The old o-rings were in pretty bad shape and dried up, and I brought them with me to match to new ones. Because on the back of the new o-ring box there is a circle with the actual size, matching them was simple. (For reference, the size I got was 1/4" inside diameter x 3.8" outside diameter x 1/16" thickness.) After cleaning everything up, I installed the new o-rings and re-assembled. No more dripping!!!
I also noticed at the same time that one of the terminals for the pre-wash bi-metal was corroded, and the plastic had gotten brittle and was breaking off. Crimped a new connector onto the wires and sanded the bi-metal terminal clean.
I really love this machine!!!
