I hate to say it, but Jason is absolutely right...there are some folks who have nothing better to do than trash everything creative they can.
Robert Heinlein described them well: Incapable of doing any creative work themselves, they are impartial; they hate every creative person.
Turn the comments off...they'll get bored and go back to playing with the fluff in their belly-buttons.

I leave my comments on. People ask questions and I feel I am obliged to answer them. I've had the odd negative comment, but I just ignore it, as most are positive and constructive. I also like correcting people when they assume wrong things about my videos and the Oasis HE.

My videos are geared toward the people on this website so whatever postive comments I get it will come from here, so I just don't even deal with the youtubers because they don't appreciate what we do and they're too ignorant to care.

I say leave the comments on. I love it when jerks expose themselves as...well, jerks, for everyone to see. And others will want to leave a positive comment, so you hate to turn them away...

It does piss a person off, though, doesn't it? It's true: Mean people suck.
