My 15 seconds of fame... AGAIN

Woooo... just got another email read out on tonight's edition of Look North! If anybody was watching the 7.25pm bulletin, my email on the state of the dustbin collection service in my area in response to a story about dustbin colleciton in Scunthorpe was read out . That's the third time I've been mentioned this year - had an email read out a couple months ago and also won a carbon monoxide detector back in January!

Make that 4, also had an email read out on Central News too about the knife amnesty a couple months ago .

Wow, my 15 seconds of fame happened when I fell down the stairs at school, as everyone in the entire school was leaving an assembly!

To me, it was more like 15 seconds of pain and humiliation.

Anyhow, congrats on getting mentioned 4 times in a year!

Wow, that is AWESOME!!! Perhaps I should start watching The O'Reilly Factor or Hannity & Colmes more closely...I do see a lot of interesting points covered but haven't felt the need to respond.

At the Convention, I did see a local news van in Greg's driveway and later heard they did a short report on it. Unfortunately, I was so enthralled by the Norge that I only went down to the basement briefly that afternoon, went back to the garage, and didn't go down there until later on that night. Oy, yet another missed opportunity.
