My BIG project...

I recently acquired a huge collection of vintage vacuums and small appliances, The good friend who I got these from asked that I not tell his name or location, and I will honor that promise,Anyway, this is a MAJOR undertaking, Donald and I have made 3 trips so far, We rented a 15 foot UHaul truck that we filled FULL of vacuum cleaners and brought home AND UNLOADED yesterday,  around a 7 or so hour drive,Donald and his Christmas Light Collecting buddy from South Carolina Mark and our friend Ron Jones all have helped..Anyway, here are some pictures, their are things I only dreamed about having..!

When I first saw that picture, I'm like, "Hey! Vintage toner cartridges."

Someone will clearly have to take me out the back and give me a good kick.

Great haul! I'm sure you've got all the suction you could ever need right there.

that's just overwhelming. Imagine the time (never mind the cost) of what it took to find these? Hans, your photos are all blurry or I need glasses. :^)). But what a great collection there...good luck.

Wow!  What a haul... literally...  This is an incredible find - congratulations!!  You're going to be busy for weeks, perhaps even months now... LOL

Well, believe it or not..

I have gone thru ALL but maybe 25 of those hoses, the good ones were separated into totes, the bad ones, that were deteriorated, I took off the ends and threw the old hoses away, 7 big yard bags full!!!!..All but a few vacuums are on shelves, now im going to start sorting attachments into different totes, We hope everyone can come visit as soon as I get it all sorted out.., The basement =.....300 plus mixers,blenders, waffle irons etc.......

Sounds like you're going to be working on this for a while, that's a wonderful collection.  It's too bad the owner had to give it all up but it couldn't be in more capable and caring hands.

 

Keep the pics coming when you get to the small appliances, that will be another very busy weekend  for sure.

Good luck with all of this.  I'll keep those pictures as proof that I am not the only one.  Coming to your house must be like going to a giant flea market without the crafts or clothing.

That's a large lot! I wish I could fine one of those blue 1205 Electrolux vacuums here!
