Not even a collection, all I have is a 1951 Bendix dryer. I got it years ago at an estate sale for free in mint condition. It's been in the garage since the day I brought it home, but I have a gut feeling that my dad who has no respect for other peoples belongings has trashed it by now.

Maybe someday when the garage gets cleaned out, and when the basement gets cleaned out, I can move it there.

Alex

(PS, the household machines are Whirlpool Duets that are a few years old, both are piles of sh!t along with the 3 year old refrigerator thats had SO many service calls, now Lowes is giving us a replacement. The door latch on the washing machine has been replaced twice, and the computer failed once)

Welcome!

Hope the Bendix has survived your dads garage without too many battle wounds.

Glad you joined us here Alex, try to get us a picture of that Bendix when you can.

Terry

Welocome Alex,

You should'nt let it bother you too much, I'm sure someday soon you will have a couple of your fav machines just like us!

Someday I will own at least one macthing set, I'd love a 60's General-Electric set, and maybe a 50's Maytag set just for fun.

WELCOME to AW Alex!

Yes, you should go dig thru dads garage to see if it's still there and dig it out of you can!

As Terry said, we'd love to see photos and I agree with Louis (KIC), I'm sure you'll go from just 1 to having some of your favorites! Or perhaps like me, you'll go from nothing to 30 or so in about 2 years! LOL.
