Hello all. Hope all is well!
I have a 1964 Maytag wringer. I love it dearly. Well a few weeks ago the rubber pump hose came off!! After I moped up the ocean Moses has slpit,I looked at the hose and found that the runner had a whole where the holse goup up. Like the bottom lip of the tub had vut a hole through it!
So I was wondering the size of the pump exit nozzle and I can run to Ace and get that size cut and buy a fastener!
Thank for any input.

That must have been quite a flood!

There is a very good dealer for Maytag conventional washer parts on eBay. Someone here can give you information on finding him or you can go there and search Maytag wringer parts of some similar term and find him. He will have the hose you need.

Yes,

his name is Phil and he is in Ovid, NY. His info is;

Phil's Maytag Sales/Service/parts
Shop # 607 869 2263
Cell # 315 246 5518

He has hoses on ebay right now or you can call him and buy from him. He is a very nice guy and is also very knowledgeable.

I have bought a lot from him and have always been totally satisfied with his shipping and products.

Good Luck

Jim

OR!

You can take the hose to Ace and have them cut you a 3 foot length. Or however long you want it. Then I bought a U shaped drain connector to hook over the sink. That connects to the hose with a clamp. Also on that clamp is a hook I made to hold the drain hose to the washer. Here's a picture of it from when I was rebuilding my 1964 E2LP. I actually cut about 1 foot of hose off after this picture was taken. It seemed I had a little too much hose. But the hose and the hook cost me about 5 bucks. Pretty cheap fix.
