<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: medium;">In great shape!</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Yes your spray arm is normal.  It is so you can remove it, remove the filter if need be to clean it.</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Does it also have the constant rinse sprayer on the the very top of the tub?</span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Where did you find it?  </span>

<span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: medium;">You will love this dishwasher.  Just get the hang of loading.  It is a cleaning powerhouse!</span>

KDS16-56

WOW that machine is practically unused, the 16s were the first to have the constant rinse on the top of the wash chamber and it really helped as you had to load large pans and skillets in the top rack. I think that he 16s are my all time favorite KA machine they were differently the most trouble free KAs ever its too bad the model run was only a little over two years.

Hang on to this machine you can build it in or you can even take off the wheels and plumb it in at the end of a counter run or add an island to your kitchen and connect it from under the floor. As a portable they seem to get used less often as it is a heavy and bulky machine to push around the kitchen and you may be less likely to use the rinse hold and plate warmer cycles if you have to move it to use them.

I fell in love with this model when I was younger and my friend's parents remodeled their kitchen, including a KDS-16 in the finished product -- harvest gold, of course.  I saw the "Party" buttons and it was love at first sight.

Has soak mode written under the pushbutton.

and a little whirlybird on the top, I guess that is a TINY rinse arm?? Where do I find the adapter to the water connection? I really want to try it soon. Also will fill it with HOT water first as per comments on here so the seals soften up. Gaskets and everything look great. I am very curious to hear how it sounds. I have a modern kenmore that wants you to wash and dry the dishes before you put them in. I may convert this to undercounter if it passes the tests. It is very clean inside and does not appear to have been used much.
