I was looking at Craigslist today for appliances and computers. I found a Compaq Presario 6000. 1GB of RAM, CD burner, DVD ROM, 1.8 GHz processor. I was missing a hard drive (I have extras of those). Said make an offer so I did of $50.00 they accepted it, and delivered it to me today.
It's much faster than my other computer, it only 512MB of RAM and a 1.10 GHz processor. Must be the extra RAM that makes it faster. At some point I will probably add a larger hard drive and a second hard drive.
My roomie bought it for me. Not a bad deal at all.
