Fantastica!

But tell us more about this little beauty! :)
I'm so envious of you guys that can collect this gems! I wouldn't even know where to store one...

Just like mine

I have the same machine, an Indesit L8LI, but it's from 1979 and thus only 32 years old. I paid 10 Euro for it, but replaced the pump housing (14 Euro)as the seal was leaking. Seals are not available separately.

Ciao Riccardo :)

Congratulations for your "new" addition to your beloved Indesit brand collection.

Old Zoppas out - old Indesit in. :))

You know what this means :)

To Ingemar

Ciao!! Ahahah, yes, the Zoppas is gone! I haven't more space at home, so I had to gave away one of my washers...

It was always funny for me to watch these Indesit washers kicking into spin cycle with the basket full of sudsy water. :-)
These washers worked better with the vintage detergents filled with phosphate because those detergents were easier to rinse.

Great find Riccardo.

Really pleased that the vintage side of Indesit is slowly beginning to surface and machines are finding their way into safe pairs of hands.

Just frustrating that vintage Indesits are rather rare in the UK.

I acquired an L5, I think last year, from another collector who saved it from a pile of scrap - literally.
Just havent got round to doing anything mechanical with it yet, though a new door seal has been procured.

So there are safe L5's, L6's and L8's -
anyone managed to save an L7?
and does anyone have any photos of the L10?

Have fun with your L8 - it looks superb!
Paul
