Well I guess you press down on your old juicer enough so that it will break… And neither the regular garbage man or recycling would take it, so into a bag out with the regular trash it went…

Here is the middle-line of juicers there was an abundance of I bought, just to get a small one to take up the least counter space and have all of its parts fit in the dishwasher…

Turns out, too, I don’t have to pull citrus fruits off the skin, nor even have to peel apples, though I did peel and remove the stem from my beets…

So here’s my second “juice I juiced” having put in lemons and limes first, I made this with most of these apples and a beet:

Are you trying to make V8 juice?
it was kind'a like it...

needed to clean out that pulp, as i think there was beet juice dripping from the top of which i'd hoped all of it made it to the glass...

everything tasted good, and now i know what to do with the baby carrots that my daughter no longer wants and celery before it shrinks

I also have a bunch of kale I promised I'd use to add to my juice, so I'll put it in my next batch...

I have an Acme juicer somewhere down in the dungeon which I picked up for a pittance at a thrift store quite a few years ago . I used it a few times but the hassles of cutting stuff up to fit, and the resulting mess to clean up quickly ended that experience for good. Not to mention that the cost of the fruit etc required to squeeze a tiny amount of juice didn't help the situ. :)

I agree, after what doing these pomegranates and a few other fruits and vegetables were like, I believe the novelty has worn out…

And I do have to pre-rinse just everything, otherwise/-you guessed it!—all that pulp going in the dishwasher would raise a little hell…

It does help get rid of incredibly shrinking celery, squishy old tomatoes, cucumbers which are mostly water, and getting the nutrients from beets and I thought it was amazing how you get juice right from carrots without water or anything else added…

Otherwise I’m wiping all the sticky off for good…

And trying not to think about the near-$15 that those pomegranates cost me more than I had the patience to get all those seedlings through for that little bit of juice that I had to add a little bit of cranberry juice to…
