The lease on my Lincoln ended June 23rd...I've been driving a rental as the Volvo I ordered the end of March still had not arrived. It was supposed to be here June 10 but it finally showed up on Thurs. I drove down to Toronto yesterday to pick it up. It is a 2019 Volvo XC60 Momentum T6 AWD in Crystal White with black leather interior. This is my first Volvo and so far I am really liking it. Very comfortable to drive, lots of power, quiet and features that just don't end.

Congratulations Gary!

That's a beautiful car and it should serve you well for a long time if you plan to keep it for a while.

The cosmos must be favoring Volvos lately.  Nate just got himself a new white one as well, but it's a sedan.

I have a S80 sedan and very comfortable car it is. Plenty of features that I have grown accustomed to. Love the handling and ride. Good luck and happy motoring with your new automobile.

Super Nice looking machine....

I am not a fan of white, but that is stunning....

I like driving the Volvo's with the Turbo

very solid nimble feel to these cars...

best of luck with it...

Very nice!

Volvo certainly has improved the looks of its vehicles in the past few years. My mom's friend Lana had a Volvo from the early 80's, in Beige, and it wasn't a very attractive car. They were so boxy then, almost like they were built with Lego blocks.

WOW, what a beautiful car.

My father is paranoid about Volvos.

Not only our bus fleet (tour agency) was 100% Volvo, but at least one of his cars always had to be a Volvo.

Nowadays he drives a Volvo S40 and a Fiat Strada pick up.

Volvo has a very interesting promo... You buy a Volvo (select models) and the delivery is made at their factory in Sweden. You watch your car being made, then you spend some days touring Sweden (all paid by Volvo and driving YOUR car) and after that you return the car to them and it will be shipped straight to your garage in the USA.

I would certainly do that... I just don't have that small detail... Money to afford a Volvo. LOL

Sexy ride Gary!

Even if Volvo is now owned by Geely, or other Chinese maker. Still Swedish built, and engineered. If not broken, at least China knows not to mess with it, at least for now.
Wondering if any Ford lineage is left in the Volvo line. Ford finally phased out the tweaked first S80 platform used on the former Explorer, 500/Taurus, Montego/Sable, Lincoln MKS, and MKT, unless the Flex is still being built.

Actually the XC60s that are destined for the North America market are being built in China (at least mine was) but supposedly Volvo is moving out of China due to excessive tariffs. From what I read in the brochures, anyone that orders a Volvo can purchase the option to go to see the car being built, etc. and then have it shipped to their country. I have no idea how much that option is worth.

that's really good mileage....

noticed on my Jeep, the computer tells me one thing, but if I do the math, I am getting better mileage than it displays...

was starting to concern me, as I was looking into cars I had back in the 80/90's, I was getting mileage like yours in a 4cyl Turbo.....

and wondering why most cars today are sticking within areas of the low 20's....some may vary.....but still, with todays technology, why were not seeing mileage into the 40's for a regular vehicle...

I had a rental for a month....a 2014 Chevy Sonic 4 banger....that thing drank more gas than my V8
