Saw this sitting on the shelf at Value Village and had to pick it up. Not sure if it works yet cause I don't have 3 C batteries. It looks to be essentially similar as my Miele toy washer though not near as realistic. And for some reason it doesn't have the drain hose the Miele toy does. Bob, can you see the control panel?

You can get them in the UK too..... exactly the same.

Kinda look very Hotpoint Ultima-Esque. Same shape drawers as the Late WM Series Hotpoints and indeed there was a Hotpoint Ultima toy washing machine out over here too although its been a while since ive seen one.

Nice bottle of Vim by the way.... the product that is marketed as Jif/Cif here which is nice to see you have the same bottle shape although we dont have a yellow/lemon variety.

Vim here is now made by some other company with nothing to do with Lever after it made a comeback several years after it dissapeared.
They put the name to cream cleaners and multipurpose dilutable cleaners etc.
It used to be just a brand name of a powdered pumice based toilet cleaner although not anymore.

My Great Nans toilet was never clean in her eyes unless it had seen Vim Scouring Powder (Ajax sometimes) and as much as I love a good squirt of Domestos thick bleach everyday Id love to see Ajax/Vim scouring powders come back.

Pete, thats adorable!

I'd have picked it up, too. =) Nice find. Do an update after you get batteries?

Vim scouring powder is available again but has been repackaged in a plastic container. Have seen it in Wilkinsons.
