AH! I know it's off topic, but I knew several club members have gotten them in the past to restore radios/tvs/record players. I was wondering who you bought photofacts from? I'm looking for someone cheap, yet reliable. Thanks so much!

Direct from SAMs

I buy my Photofacts directly from SAM's publishing. They'll send you NOS or copies. Never a problem.
Definitely not cheap but very reliable.
I bought a mint,never used Admiral Penthouse stereo (1966) at an estate sale. When I tested it at home one channel was dead! Ordered the SAMS which cost me $25. Yikes.
However, after with the schemo I scoped out an open coupling cap in the amp. Unit probably never worked from the start. It does now!
