I have a Simpson Fluid Drive of my own now! YAY! I have always loved these machines and I got mine on Ebay for $5.

Apparently it works but I haven't checked it. I live in a unit and it went straight to the garage. It is also unbelievable heavy.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures I mislaid my camera so I had to use my phone.

Wow!

I'd love to have one like that too! It looks like a real TOL model. And in such great cosmetic shape! Of course, I just want to take a razor-blade to that little sticker on the console!

Looks like plenty of dispensers, however, could you explain which is which. I'm curious what the one is for above what appears to be a lint-filter flume.

Congratulations on a fabulous find!

Your Fluid Drive

A good find - a good price - mine was a lot more than that and I paid $50 just for another fluid drive unit to replace the original one which developed a leak, and caused slipping.

Yes, they are VERY heavy, but if on a solid surface, will not move at all.

If you remove the two screws at the top of the control panel, you can expose the whole of the timer, etc workings. It's a bit of a rat's nest! There will be date stamped on the back of the timer unit. Mine is June 1967. Hopefully you'll be able to get it out of the garage one day!
