I needed some shopping therapy after doing my open MRI Friday. I couldn't drive after the procedure but, Bev was up for a trip to Dime & Dollar Thrift Store. Came home with a vintage aluminum 9x13 cake pan with a sliding cover for $1.50, and a Wagner Ware dutch oven in terrific shape for $3.50.

Then today I decided to check out part 2 of a 3 part estate sale. Everything was 50% off the tag price. Came home with a Cuisinart DLC-7 food processor with 14 discs, 2 mixing blades, chopping blade, and the complete pasta attachment. Total=$22.50. I carried that box out of the house like I stole it!

OMG...

That DLC7-Super Pro is the best ever...

I have the same machine I bought in 1986. It has been through 4 restaurants, a private yacht, and sooooo many catering jobs and fill ins in miscellaneous kitchens.. They're indestructible. In the 32 years I have had that machine I ahve replaced the work bowl 3 times, 6 blades, and 3 lid sets.

Thank God parts are still available for this exquisite machine.

In Full agreement...

That Cuisinart was a complete STEAL! I have two of them myself and will NEVER part with 'em. Almost cried when I lost my OEM box of accessory discs in a move one year. Cost me 100 bucks to replace! Heck, the disc caddy alone was worth more than you paid for the lot!! Well played, sir.

Ralph,

This is our 2nd Wagner Ware dutch oven.  We have the one my grandma bought in the early 1950's which we use quite often.  My mom also has one that she received as a wedding gift in 1967.
