I remember Norge electric ranges like that from the early 60s. The gas ones had a similar look except for the placement of the controls. There was just something major lacking at the design unit of Norge. To me, they looked much less stylish, with the exception of your lovely over the top range, Hans, than the comparable GE appliances sitting next to them in the store. The stoves and refrigerators seemed solidly built, just lacking pizazz.
