It's a Franklin agitator mounted lint filter, probably off of a Wizard or Coronado washer from the late 50's into the early 60's.

Our families 1960 CO-OP washer had this lint filter, it was about as effective as the agitator mounted MT filter or the GE FF, which is not saying much. In fact if you neglected to clean the small amount of lint that it collected it would usually be gone a load later and I don't think they meant it to be Self-Cleaning, LOL.

Sure is pretty; nice color plastic and in good condition too

YOU CLEAN IT? Pull it off and curl your fingers up around under the screen?? Reach a petite hand down inside the trumpet part?
