I just noticed something about my Maytag
The other day, I used the Jetclean steam cycle completely empty with citric acid. When the machine is empty, it makes a much more noticeable water sloshing while the machine is running, right? So fast forward to my dishwasher being full last night and I needed to run it, and I always just hit start to start the cycle because the machine remembers the last cycle. The dishwasher was packed full of dishes.
Not paying attention and I had forgotten that I had the last cycle on Jetclean/Steam which I almost never use, but I end up using normal, hi temp, tough scrub, no dry. While the machine was running, it sounded like a LOT more vigorous water sloshing than I'm used to hearing and it was at this point I noticed it was on Jetclean/Steam, so I let it go. I just thought jetclean/steam had a longer wash cycle and perhaps more rinses, but I had no clue it had a more vigorous wash action or filled with more water per fill, but apparently it does.
