Need Maytag machine ID

My aunt has a white Maytag A210 Fabric-Matic washer and an avocado Maytag DG408 dryer. Can anyone tell me EXACTLY how old these machines are? I know she purchased the dryer sometime between 1976-1979 ,so it's one of the last center dial models.I changed the drum belt and found it very difficult to work on compared to Whirlpool/Kenmores. The washer I believe is about a 1981-82 model and is one of the new console design. NO REPAIRS EVER!The timer on the dryer is a bit stiff when you turn it. The other day the timer was stuck and wouldn't turn. Why?
