Hello all, I hope all is well and stay safe. So I came across a Maytag set for $100.00. I never EVER LIKED Maytag washers. I found them troublesome. I have used the older models in the laundromats their “rinse” cycles are very short even with a long spray rinse I was not to sure.. I also had a Maytag dryer in the past that I found to take longer than my Old style Kenmore/Whirlpool which are hands down the BEST dependable quick drying gentle dryers ever made. Back to the washer and dryer I went to look at the set it came from a very very well-kept clean home from an older Italian woman whose son told me that she barely used the Maytag washer or dryer because she had a wringer washer that she used up until the late 90s this washing machine sat and has low mileage on it I did a test run while he and I talked his mother is now in a nursing home come to find out I went to school with his cousin long story short I bought the washer and dryer and took it home the dryer did heat up very quickly and it’s quiet. The washing machine also is very quiet I could actually not even hear it run! It ran all through the cycles kinda boring. I like drama in a washing machine like filter flo-s and Direct Drive Kenmore Whirlpool washers lotta splashing this Maytag washer to me was so quiet it was almost boring I am going to start using this Maytag washer soon I hope that it cleans well I’m gonna put it to the test can someone tell me what year these models were made thank you so much much much. I am guessing late 70s models. I’m going to introduce the Maytag to the rest of the crew. 😀

Lucky you!  Congratulations!  I can't tell you the exact year, but they are from the mid to late 70s.  What I love about my Maytag is that it goes about its business with no fuss and messing around.  It just gets the job done.  The key for me is being careful to overload it.
