Hi Graham. It is a fun machine. I have a '51 Westyslantfront but currently, it is in the repair shop.
Good luck and have fun with your new machine.

Thank you

Thank you all for your nice comments. I love this washer so much i'm putting it in my living room for pretty. But all the thanks needs to go to Robert. Thanks again!!!!

Back around 1990 or so I was at an estate sale at a house that was built in like 1952. It was a total time capsule and it had a similar vintage Westy pair in the laundry room still connected like they'd been in use the whole time and they were in mint condition. Also a GE combo fridge original to the home, mint also and which had already been sold. I so wanted to buy the Laundromat pair but had no place for them. I'm sure they would have gone cheap. I really love these little machines and wish I had a place where I could put a pair and use them for loads that are too small for my Duet HT's. I think we all know that the likelihood of any Duet or other modern day front loader still tumbling away trouble-free over 50 years from now is well below 0%

Great find Robert & Graham!

Ralph
