My vintage chrome Mixmaster really needs a new cord. It's original cord is a hard rubber type that is wearing badly where it enters the mixer. How difficult is replacement?

I've done several cord replacements on Mixmaster Juniors and they were very straightforward projects. I'm told by members of this board that the full size Mixmasters are easier, so if your mechanical skills are decent I don't think you'd have any trouble.
