I don't care for the GE-style exposed filter. Small items such as socks may fall in there during unloading, or larger items brush through the cavity, and pick up lint ... although of course it's clean lint.
These washers are looking more like the Whirlpool Bravo/Cabrio/Mexico machines. Every part on them is expensive to replace but cheaply built. The boards, rotors, seals, etc... are a pain to replace and repair. Stick with the Speed Queen machines.
