Hi guys dont know if you have been down the Laundry Aisle lately but there are some new products for frontloaders available. Surf Matic Tropical Powder, Drive Matic Liquid and Radiant Matic Liquid. It is all very exciting and very welcomed I am sure every one will agree. Considering when you walk into most appliance stores now days you see just as many if not more Front Loaders on sale. Detergent manufacturers should just make low sudsing detergents and be done with it. Now all that would make me really happy would be to have a range of P&G Detergents and Fabric Softeners (Tide, Ariel and Downy) available over here. So if you people at Proctor and Gamble read these forums bring your great fabric care products down under.

It's interesting that they use the term "fab" in their description.

It's a small thing, but there was a time when an advertiser wouldn't dream of using a competitor's name, or anything close to it.

Example: In an episode of I Love Lucy, a contest name was changed from "Lucky Bucks" to "Bonus Bucks." The reason? Lucy was sponsored by Chesterfield cigarettes, and they didn't want to use the word 'lucky' as that would remind viewers of Lucky Strike cigarettes, a competitor.

Call For Philip Morris

Sorry Veg, but "I Love Lucy" was sponsored by Philip Morris. Chesterfield sponsored other shows, including "Dragnet." But the story is spot-on!
