New GE Washer

I'm about to purchase a new washer and dryer to use at a weekend home and I'm considering a GE, (see the link). The machine will be used mostly for sheets and towels since it's just a weekend home. If I was actually going to be there full-time I'd move my existing SQ AWN542 or I'd get another SQ, but for a weekend home it's hard for me to spend well over $800 for a washer. Anyway, this GE seems to be the closest to a traditional top-load and it has the option to get a full fill for the rinse. Anyway, curious if if anyone has experience with these GE models.

Yeah, there's a few YouTubes out there. One is of a guy washing one mop head, an interesting test. It doesn't handle off-balance spinning very well, and it does a drain before the spin. In both cases I like the SQ better, but again it's for a weekend home and I'd prefer this over the HE top load machines.

There's another YouTube of a woman washing towels in one, and in the video you can see a pistol (firearm) sitting on top of the dryer, which she references in the video....rather crazy!

For a few bucks more there is this larger capacity model with a few more features.

I really like these new GE washers. They do indeed seem the closest you can get to a "traditional" washer.
