1000rpm spin

I think there are still people out there with old Hotpoints - which have 1000rpm, 800rpm, and I think they would be happy to buy a new one with 1000rpm if they had little knowledge about 1600rpm ones being available.
One of my dad's Uncles had 1000rpm machine, when it died they purchased another 1000rpm machine, as they weren't aware anything faster was available, and said 1000rpm does the job!
Also there isn't much different in terms of how dry laundry comes out between 1000, 1100, 1200 models anyway. (or is there?)

With the old small drum Hotpoint 95 / WM models, the 1000 spin version was more reliable than the 1200, which tended to shake itself to bits. My current Servis 1500 machine does not get stuff as dry as the various Hotpoint 1000 models I used to recondition.

Experience

Like always with Indesit Company we tend to get the appliances in long before any brochures are available. We had a new Experience washer delivered to us yesterday & it was badly damaged so we telephoned Indesit Company only to be told that they still haven't got the new models on their computer systems, surely that should be the first thing they should have done before shipping their goods out.
