While I'm sure the machine CAN do that, else they wouldn't be allowed to claim it in adverts, I do wonder how long the cycle will be that does it. I'm also not convinced by the foam generation, much like the Samsung ones.
These machines are also very expensive for Hotpoint, with prices reaching over £600-800 for the very top end Ultimas.

I would like to see it remove dried in Italian tomato based sauces at 20
I bet if you looked at the 100 stains list there is not anything on there that any other machine cannot remove at 20 or whatever
And I see it is fitted with one of those noisy magnetic pumps oh joy of joys listening to that
oh well such is innovation

Personally I love them, I'm a happy Hotpoint owner, and these look amazing! Definately want to try them!
The Anti-stain Turbo wash, is essentially the standard 20 wash the EU Government made every machine have last year. Hotpoint/Indesit have essentially taken the initiative (unlike other manufacturers) to improve it, so it can remove stains. I'm not sure what 100 stains it removes - would be nice to see a list really. Its probably not got tomato on the list, as mine struggles to remove it on Anti-stain 40C. That said would the mousse foam help that much, it probably could.
I'm guessing it would work like Cottons Standard 20, just with more distributions, and a switch to the Anti-Stain/Whites intensive rhythm 30/2 during the cycle. I'm sure it'll take longer than 1:35 shown in the picture! Seems from the video link above - it uses 10 motions for washing?
Anti-stain Turbo (which still alllows upto 40C selection) is a Fast Wash 60', but with deep rinses, and interim spin after wash, and final spin. see video below
Direct injection failed on the Aqualtis, then original machine to launch it, most reviewers didn't even see a difference in foam. Of course Samsungs Eco Bubble doesn't really do much either. Will be interesting to see if the new Direct Injection works better. I've noticed there are 2 options for direct injection "Power" which I'm guessing would work with more intensive and more heat, and "Ecoenergy" which I guess would work like Bosch EcoPerfect save a bit of money, but use the foam generated to not affect wash time. Apparently both options work within the Standard Wash Time, so no longer washes - option can be deselected - ideal if washing small loads as lot of foam can cause less washing performance.
A good new thing is they've finally added a normal cotton wash back on the machine. On previous models selecting 60 on cottons 60, would heat to 49C and extend the wash time. Now selecting 60 on cottons 60 will give a 60C wash, and no long wash time. The Cottons Standard Eco programme however takes 5hr30 and probably washes at around 30C, At least that is now separate programme, and no need to wait that long all the time.
I also like how they've added Colour Care to the Ultima models - it will be so good to finally be able to select the Whites Wash!
The Ultimas also now have a Shirts, Bed+Bath(returned), Anti-Allergy, Duvet wash Programmes.
They still have the upto 3 extra rinses selection, steam hygiene, and T/Saver buttons. The very TOL Ultima (thats the one with the black glass door) has a Jeans wash, as theres an Eco Button. The TOL and Dialogic range also have Eco Rain - presumably a Jetsystem, or maybe a Bosch/Siemens Type door fill.
The Display is now Fully LCD (a bit like the latest Siemens IQ700 (UK) Range), seems it will show the programme (see picture), and the go to a main Menu (see picture). Apparently there's a screen saver too.
Its also got Microbial door seal (same as Whirlpool).
Dascot - the £800+ model is the Aqualtis replacement (or will eventually be) Dialogic machine, I posted about a year ago to this forum about. This is the Wifi/smart phone washer, a bit like Candy's/Miele. Ideal if your in the modern times.

That's 68 degrees in Yank-speak. Consumer Reports tests detergents in cool, 75 degree water. 68 places it firmly in the 'cold' column.

I'll keep me warm and hot washes, but a cool pre-wash is certainly not out of the question.
With the way I sweat (which I attribute to some sort of 'social anxiety), washing in cool/cold water would leave me with yucky clothes and me smelling like wet dog, no matter what. Not to mention antiperspirant AND sweat stains would quickly rear their heads!

As mentioned by glenfieldmathk1 I am a happy owner of a Hotpoint Smart WMFUG942 9kg washing machine that I purchased this year in March for my new flat.
I have to say, I am very impressed with the performance with this machine. I never considered Hotpoint/Indesit before but I thought I would move away from Electrolux/Zanussi/AEG machines.
I have tried out the 20 degree programme and do find it to be rather good. Though I do not believe in washing clothes at such a low temperature so I don't use this programme. Despite the low temperature, the washing machine does 2 low water level rinses if the washing machine does not detect a very absorbent load. It uses slightly higher water levels for the rinses but it never does deep rinses on this cycle - I assume to confirm to the stupid EU regulation.
My machine also does distribution tumbles on the Standard Cotton 60 degree programme if it detects an absorbent load and takes longer to wash - over 3 hours with slightly higher water levels for the rinse cycles. distributions are every 10 minutes on Cottons 60 with an absorbent load only and the heater maintains the heat in the machine by switching the heating element on and off. Its very much upto the 'brain' of the machine to decide. I'm not sure if changing the Smart function makes the machine act differently - I assume so.
The Cottons 40 programme I notice when it detects an absorbent load, does a long wash again for 3 hours and it maintains the warm 40 degree programme throughout the programme (the door glass feels rather warm and I can hear the PCB for the heater click on and off regularly), it then proceeds with 2 very deep rinses for the rinse cycles. If the machine detects a half load or a load that is not very absorbent, it then cuts the wash time down and heats the water at the beginning, but I do not think it heats the water up again so it is not at 40 degrees throughout the rest of that cycle. The rinse cycles are not very deep and are medium level.
The only gripe I have with my machine (videos on my channel) is that it performs a lot of Anti Tangling tumbles after the first wash and before the final spin, which can be a little annoying as I don't really think a machine needs to keep detangling stuff, seeing as when I used a Beko machine, it just spun. The final spin on the machine performs these anti tangle tumbles and then balancing which can go on for around 10 minutes and the machine can spend time trying to perfect the balancing of the load. But I would rather the machine spins balanced and not make a load of noise. The machine is successful is balancing the load and reaching full 1400rpm spin. Last week, there were towels and jeans which the machine has a slight issue with balancing, it sort of gave up and decided to spin with this unbalanced 9kg load. To my surprise, the machine gradually increased the spin and it decided to spin at the full 1400rpm, but it only did this for 30 seconds as opposed to longer - I assume the computer on the machine decides this was the best option. If the load is balanced or slightly unbalanced, the machine starts off the final spin very softly and increases the spin speed very slowly up until it reaches the full 1400rpm. Its different from Indesit//Hotpoints I used before.
I do like the look of the new machines, I like the rounded design of the machines. The features such as Direct Injection and steam is no interest to me. I just want a washing machine that cleans. But for techno savvy, the Wifi and extra features will be rather appealing.

Enhanced wash action on Standard Cottons 60 degree - Only achieved when washing an absorbent load. The machine will not do this when the load is not very absorbent or is half loaded.
I assume that the new fancy Hotpoints that will be launched will have this type of sequence on some of their machines.

The machine does not burst into a spin on final spin, a slow gentle start up to the full 1400rpm spin. It does this on all final spins. Interim spins, it does spin bursts. Which turns out to be one because the first spin after the wash has lots of detangling, the spin after the first rinse has spin bursts like Indesit/Hotpoints do and then theres this final gentle start up spin that did plenty of detangling and some balancing before.

Oh god, not a Hotpoint! Would not have one based on the terrible build quality I have come across myself.
Again, just a gimmick. None of this crap works, same goes for samsungs eco bubble BS. Why do never see Bosch or Miele come up with things like this? Because they aren't interested in marketing gimmicks, they focus on the real important stuff.

I guess I just don't have any interest in WiFi capabilities for my appliances,nor mobile connectivity via NFC, or other such gimmicks. I buy a washer to wash clothes, and to do so reliably.
Based on experiences I've seen with Hotpoint electronics in the past few years, I wouldn't spend that much of my money on one of their machines with only a 1 year warranty.
I feel a lot of the bells & whistles offered on machines these days are gimmicks rather than necessities. That's not just Hotpoint, but also the likes of LG, Samsung, etc.
Based on experiences I've seen with Hotpoint electronics in the past few years, I wouldn't spend that much of my money on one of their machines with only a 1 year warranty.
I feel a lot of the bells & whistles offered on machines these days are gimmicks rather than necessities. That's not just Hotpoint, but also the likes of LG, Samsung, etc.

My machine has a 20 degree wash and I regularly use it for coloured loads (tee shirts/tops, sweat pants and stuff like that and dark shirts/tops etc to reduce fading. The cycle lasts for about 2 hours and I have never been less than impressed with it. The manual states that it is not suitable for greasy stains so I don't use it for that.

Well I say good luck to Hotpoint on these new machines. Nice to too machines with technology and the odd gimmick as many people out there love technology and something 'different'.
I disagree on Hotpoints being poor quality, they are coming a long way and I know many Indesit made machines that are over 8 years and still going strong with no hiccup. My parents have an 11 year old cheap Indesit tumble drier. I will not base my own Hotpoint as part of experience as it's less that 6 months old, but it certainly feels better quality compared to other machines of the same price bracket.
WiFi is going to be a welcome feature with many being able to start their wash from work and then go home with it operating. I do not advocate having appliances on whilst not at home but I can imagine many people making use of this feature.
