New LG Top loading Washer

Has anyone else here seen or used the new LG top loading washer?? They are now making them for Sears too and I was real impressed with their performance. Quiet,energy and aqua saving, and many nice features including different methods or patterns of movement.great warranty coverage on the motors tone of the many features i like that stand noticeable is the ALL stainless steel tub and impeller.The W'pool, Maytag, K'more and Haire all have plastic impellers that can be easily scratched by zippers, clips and belt buckles causing them to damage clothes.Like the stainless steel SQs,the more you use them, the smoother they get.I am wondering if SQ is going to eventualy "jumb on the band wagon" and introduce their version of an HE top loader??? It seams to be the new wave in laundry equipment.

They do look nice......."IF" you can trust LG. I always thought of Goldstar as being low end "cheap" but oddly enough, the LG washers (as far as appearance goes) seems to be built better than a lot of the machines......It's so hard to say. I've read LG horror reviews as well as great reviews as well.

There's already some discussion about them on GardenWeb. Everyone over there seems to like them... I wonder, however, if these really turn the load over or just swish items back and forth?

I would like to see a king size mattress pad, or a basket of towels go thru the paces. I would not start my old machine for a few pieces as shown. Logix Thanks for posting the Vids. alr2903

Sigh...

Basically a rebadged GE Harmony. I found mine to be rough on clothing. Although, it was fun to use and I liked the touchscreen interface.

It looks to me this Waveforce is more or less the same as a Turbodrum. After having used my Turbodrum for a while I must say that I am not too impressed. The towels I washed in that machine show much more wear and tear after only a few washes. Lot of loose threads since I started washing them in the Turbodrum.

Besides that I am not too impressed by the wash results. I had a yellowed wash cloth that I washed in the Turbodrum. After the wash there was no difference. I washed it again but this time in the Miele (same detergent). Yellowness gone totally!

OH come on! Why do all the video demo's have so little clothing? 2 articles of clothing? Really? It does look like a spaceship though. Those modern control panels make me nervous. Error codes waiting to happen.

did the Harmony turn the load over? I've seen videos of the various Whirlpool HE top loaders and they do turn everything over - albeit slowly. But the LG/Harmony...?

What I do like about this LG/Kenmore is the heater, which "heats the water in three steps and maintains it at the highest temp for ten minutes".
