Here are the new Maytag Washer, Dryer and Wedgewood Gas Stove in the home. I know when you see the pictures, you will wonder why the washer and dryer are not together. I have been using this Maytag Wringer for 6 years now as my daily driver and I am just having a very hard time replacing it with the automatic washer. I have my vintage radio in my laundry room and listen to the 1920's Radio Network. They have great music from the 20's-40's. I stream the music wireless to the vintage radio. So I really enjoy/love my Maytag Wringer and enjoy doing wash in my vintage laundry room.

Here is a link to the Radio Station: http://www.the1920snetwork.com/

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

That Maytag automatic is beautiful.

So is the Wedgewood. It has some special treatments that are probably not so common on that size of stove, such as the stainless top and the oven window. It shines like brand new!

Top of the Line Wedgewood

This Wedgewood was top of the line back in 1950/1951.. It has be restored from the ground up. New chrome plating and the works. It is a wonderful stove.

Yosef

You have done a great job of decorating. Your home looks warm and cozy. The vintage appliances are a great collection and I'm sure they are great performers. I love to cook on an old stove like that.

Thanks

Thank you very much. The Wedgewood Gas Range/Oven is one of the best stoves that I have ever owned. It cook/bakes very evenly.

Here is a pick of the fresh bread I baked today...

Very nice.

Really like the retro look. Something is making me think you posted pictures of your home in the past and explained you had painted the countertops. Is that correct or am I thinking of another member?

Yes Yes......

I posted these pictures about 4 years ago as well. Thanks for looking and Shabbat Shalom to everyone.

Your kitchen looks cozy and homey, Yosef. However, not only do you have a vintage kitchen it seems, but there is something vintage parked in your garage as well. Can you tell me what it is please? Could it be an old Buick?

As someone who cleaned up a zillion vintage Wedgewood gas ranges similar to yours for resale (they never needed repairing) I can completely understand why you are so pleased with the even-temperature oven. I wonder how many owners of the "new" Caloric or Gaffers & Sattler's they bought as replacements were disappointed with the zig-zag, on/off thermostat on their new stoves. My mom had a Wedgewood for years which gave excellent baking results. The avacado dual oven, high-broiler w/ rotisserie fancy-schmancy G & S "Elegante" that replaced it was inferior to say nothing of the fact that compared with the Wedgewood, it reeked of cheapness. Your kitchen is wonderful. I like that dog too!
