A lot of Americans complain about the water level, I guess people need to adjust to the lower water levels. As a matter of fact more water makes the laundry fall into the water instead of on to the side of the drum. Less cleaning action instead of more!! To put it simply: In the old age people beat the laundry on a rock in the river, that rock was above the water level, not under it. A frontloader does the same thing, wet it when it's at the bottom and then drop it on a surface (the side of the drum)
